Botanical Interests

Botanical Interests is a family-owned business located in Broomfield, CO.

Our selection of their seed includes 227 varieties of flowers, herbs & vegetables.  A select number of the herbs & vegetables are organic.

   

Franchi Sementi

Franchi Sementi is an Italian seed company located in Bergamo.  Their seed packets are large & colorful and our customers have been delighted with the varieties and their germination.  Each year we carry 64 varieties of herb, vegetable & flower seed. In addition, we have their mushroom kits and a specialty line of greens that can be grown for your favorite pet.  This year, to celebrate the theme of the show, we will have a number of regional collections from various areas of Italy.

   
Mr. Fothergill's Seed

Sixteen years ago we contacted this British seed company, located in Suffolk, and each year we offer a selection of 96 of their flower varieties, including selected British wildflowers.  Their seed is hermetically sealed within the pack and each pack is labeled with average seed content.

   

High Mowing Seeds

Two years ago we added this Vermont organic seed company to our range.

Having heard many good things about High Mowing, we have selected 48 varieties of herbs, vegetables & flowers from their extensive collection.  All of their seed is 100% Certified Organic.

   
Johnsons Seeds

We added this 100 year old British seed company to our collection three years ago.  Each pack has a plant label attached and the 60 varieties of flower seed we have selected include some very unusual perennials.

 

   

Kitazawa Seed Company

Located in Oakland, CA, Kitazawa Seed Company was started in 1917, bringing traditional Asian vegetables to the U.S.  Our 35 selections from Kitazawa include Chinese, Japanese & Thai vegetable specialties for the home gardener.

   
Renee's Garden

Our 240 selections from Renee Shepherd's well-known, Felton, CA based,  collection of cottage garden flowers and gourmet herbs & vegetables represents 91% of her full range.  The new introductions in her line are available each year.  See our complete list of available varieties.

 

   

Seeds of Change

Started in 1989, Seeds of Change is one of the leading suppliers of organic seed.  We carry 126 varieties of flowers, herbs & vegetables from this Santa Fe, NM based company.

   
Seed Savers Exchange

This non-profit organization of gardeners and plant collectors who save and share heirloom seeds brought to North America by their ancestors was established in 1975 and is based in Decorah, IA.

Our 180 varieties from the Seed Savers Exchange include flowers, herbs & vegetables with many organic choices.  Each selection has a history and a story...

   

Thompson & Morgan

Since 1855, Thompson & Morgan has been supplying quality English seeds throughout the world.  Although headquartered in Great Britain, their Jackson, NJ site distributes their full range throughout the U.S.  We have three separate collections from Thompson & Morgan.

In the primary collection, we carry 401 varieties of flower, herb & vegetable seed.  85% of these varieties are flowers.  This is one of the most extensive selections of annual & perennial flower seed that you will come upon.

Another collection from Thompson & Morgan is their Exotic Seed range.  If you want to grow Bananas, Pomegranates or Palm Trees, don't miss this selection of 28 tropical and/or exotic varieties.

Our final grouping is the Kew Collection of flowers.  These selections include a number of rare perennials and exotic annuals, as well as seed for the young gardener in your midst.

   
TomatoFest

Three years ago we were contacted by Gary Ibsen, the originator of TomatoFest.  Located in Carmel, CA, TomatoFest grows and sells over 500 varieties of organic, heirloom tomatoes.  The 36 varieties that we have available include many that you will not find elsewhere.
